Jeff Noe

Teaching Pastor

Jeff has been married 35 years to his wife, Tanya. He has one daughter (Chandler, 30) and one son (Tyler, 27) and recently, a grandson (Colson) and granddaughter (Eisley). Jeff has a great passion for historical theology and the exposition of Scripture.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in history from UCLA and his Master’s degree from Talbot Theological Seminary. His hobbies include reading, gardening,
and following the Bruins, Dodgers, and Lakers.

Adam Sanchez

Pastor of Discipleship and Missions

Adam has been with Oak Hill for over 15 years, where he has served in several pastoral roles, currently serving as the Pastor of Discipleship and Missions. He met his wife, Jess, at TMU, where he obtained a BA in Biblical Exposition and a MA in Biblical Counseling. Their children, Eden (10yr old girl) and Zion (5yr old boy), love adventures, spending time with the church family, and family game nights! Adam also serves as the International Director of Ministry Development for Africa at Children’s Hunger Fund, and travels across the continent to encourage churches pursuing gospel-centered mercy ministry. Adam loves bearing witness to God’s grace in local churches all over the world, and particularly at Oak Hill Bible Church!

Grant Fonda

Pastor of Music and Creative Arts

Grant is an award-winning composer for film, television, and the concert stage who holds degrees in music from The Master’s University, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and the University of Southern California. Grant’s greatest earthly joys are his wife, Carley, and their children, Ezekiel “Zeke” (7) and Piper (4). Grant is passionate about eating and creating great food, enjoys movies, music, and anything to do with Christmas.

Ross Anderson

Elder

Ross has been a member of Oak Hill for 16 years, and is a retired professor of Biochemistry at The Master’s University. He currently teaches AP Physics and AP Biology at Trinity Classical Academy and is married to Christine, a world-renowned handbell artist. Ross loves the great outdoors and can eat more pie than anyone you know.

Dave Hubbs

Elder

Dave is retired from a career in commercial real estate, but his passion is spending time with his family and serving his church family. Dave placed his faith in Jesus Christ in high school and has served in many capacities at various churches through the years including children’s, youth, adult and family ministries, father/son discipleship, Mexico outreach, and church facility development. He and his wife Meredith have been attending OHBC since 2013. They currently lead a community group in their home for mostly college students who enjoy Sunday afternoon lunches, fellowship, and a time together in God’s Word. Dave and Meredith Hubbs have four grown children who all love the Lord.

Ken Piester

Elder

Ken has been with Oak Hill since 2009. He holds a Business degree from The Master’s University where he currently works as the Director of Financial Aid. Ken leads the Men’s Ministry at Oak Hill, where he loves to see how God is working in maturing His followers. He is an avid foodie and is voted most likely to open his own restaurant one day.

Jeff Steele

Elder

Jeff has been married to Carol for almost 47 years, and is the father of 3 kids (two boys and a girl) and “Papa” to nine grandchildren. He is actively involved with Lifeline Global Ministries and has worked with inmates inside LA County jails and in California state prisons, and he has been in ministry for 48 years. He is affectionately known by all children at Oak Hill as “Papa Jeff”, and he makes a mean pancake and butterscotch cookie.

Alex Gerbrandt

Audio-Tech Ministry

Alex has been a member of Oak Hill Bible Church since 2013 and currently serves as Deacon over the tech ministry. With over a decade of experience in audio post-production, he is passionate about using technology to aid worship and bring glory to the Lord. Alex enjoys investing in the lives of others in the ministry, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can develop their technical skills while deepening their faith. Outside of Sunday mornings, you can find him hiking, diving into software development, or indulging in the art of caffeine consumption—often spending far too long in local coffee shops!

Meredith Hubbs

Children's Ministry

Meredith loves kids and loves overseeing Acorns, Oak Hill’s children’s ministry. She has taught in public school, private school, and as a homeschool mom, and now pours herself into helping our precious “Acorns” grow in their love for God and his word. You can often find her scouring Pinterest, thrift stores, and Dollar Tree (or anywhere else she happens to be) to find creative resources that help bring God’s word to life. She enjoys taking long walks with her husband, Dave, spending time with family and friends, and baking treats to share with everyone who comes to the Sunday community group that she and Dave host. Meredith and Dave have been married for over 30 years and have four grown children and 2 grandchildren.

Glenn Kelly

Service and Tech Ministries

Glenn is an outgoing, solution oriented, servant leader and energizer bunny that loves to have fun while serving the Lord. The Lord has richly blessed Glenn with a Godly wife and two daughters. Glenn joined Oak Hill in 2015 when he accepted a job as a Technology Project Manager at DreamWorks Animation and his family relocated to SoCal. He currently serves in the AV ministry and answers the call whenever the Oak Hill Deacon Beacon is projected in the sky. Glenn’s passion is to serve the Lord with all of his gifts and experiences to tackle tasks and projects of all sizes and encouraging and discipling others to live and love in the Lord!

Laura Kelly

Church Administration

Laura is married to Glenn and together they have two adult children, Kenzie and Alaina. Laura serves as the planning administrator for Oak Hill, as well as meeting any practical needs that come up in the church. When she’s not serving in her administrative role, she enjoys discipling younger women in the church, hiking, having outdoor adventures, spending time with family and friends, and if there’s still time in the day, she crochets. The Lord is Laura’s greatest joy, and she loves to testify of His goodness and grace to believers and unbelievers alike.

Tanya Noe

Church Administration

As the wife of our teaching pastor, Tanya knows this church inside and out! Aside from being great at answering questions and welcoming people into our family, Tanya is also a faithful friend to all the ladies in our church. When she’s not hosting church events at her house or spending time with women in our church, you can find her reading and marking up her Bible or planning surprise getaway trips for her and Jeff!

Blake Roseberry

Men’s Ministry

Blake is an Iowa native transplanted to SoCal, a graduate of The Master’s University (B.A., Biblical Counseling), and Finance Manager for a market research technology company. Passionate about the local church providing Scriptural care and encouraging Christlike transformation among fellow sufferers, sinners, and strugglers, Blake loves sharing life with and serving the Oak Hill family, which he has been a part of since 2015.

Jesse Sanchez

Biblical Counseling

Jesse graduated from The Master’s University with degrees in both Spoken Communication and Biblical Studies. She spent many years with Child Evangelism Fellowship, teaching the gospel to children and teaching others how to do the same. She loves her husband (Adam), their fun-loving girl, Eden Joy (10), and their inquisitive son, Zion (5). Her passions include the outdoors, any competitive activity, good books, storytelling, missions, and discipleship. In 2020, Jesse earned her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling (MABC) degree from TMU.

Carol Steele

Women’s Ministry

Carol has over 30 years of ministry experience and we are blessed by her! Having taught Middle School for over 20 years, she has now embarked on her next chapter in life: retirement! In addition to leading our Women’s Council, Carol leads a women’s community group and is working to assist her husband in prison ministry, specifically loving on women in our local jails.

Connor Weiss

Usher Ministry

Connor has been a member of Oak Hill Bible Church since 2017. He graduated from The Master’s University with a degree in Christian Education in 2016, and has enjoyed leading the Usher & Greeter ministry and serving in the Acorns Ministry for many years. What Connor lacks in beauty is made up for by his beautiful and sweet wife Kailey who also serves in Acorns. His precious children, Elsie and Foster, are his greatest joys. He enjoys all things sports, good reads, trips to the beach or the park, board games, and spending time with others.
