COMMUNITY

At the heart of a local church is biblical community.

We strive to be connected to one another and to grow in grace by gathering as often as possible to share life and study the Scriptures. We pray this kind of community happens both formally and informally.

In our Community Groups we study through books of the Bible, sometimes we do a book study based on a spiritual topic, and sometimes we focus on current events.

No matter what, these groups are about interaction.

We desire every part of the body of Christ to be deeply invested

in the lives of those around them: their community.

- SCG -

We see Christian youth under enormous pressure today. They live in a world constantly at odds with the truth of Scripture and the principles we strive to teach in our homes.

SCG exists to strengthen the faith of the believing youth, to disciple them into a deeper walk of faith by teaching Scripture, and to declare the truth of the gospel to our unbelieving youth. As they grow in their convictions, we desire to train them to reach out to unbelieving friends, family, and beyond.

MEN

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."

- Proverbs 27:17

What does a man of God really look like? According to Scripture, he's a man of balance: Strong and courageous. A spiritual leader in the home. One who sacrificially loves his wife. A godly influence upon his children Gentle and compassionate. That's our goal ... to present every man complete in Christ! (Col. 1:28).
